«Slip of the Tongue», fue el octavo álbum de estudio con el que la banda obtuvo el tercer disco platino consecutivo. Lanzado originalmente en noviembre de 1989, el disco alcanzó el puesto número 10 en las listas de álbumes del Reino Unido y Estados Unidos, gracias en gran parte a sus dos éxitos Top 40: «Fool For Your Loving» y «The Deeper The Love». Este álbum, uno de los favoritos de los seguidores de la banda, cumple 30 años, y Rhino lo está celebrando editando varias versiones nuevas, incluido un colosal set de siete discos en caja.



«Slip Of The Tongue: 30th Anniversary Edition», estará disponible el 4 de octubre en una colección 6CD / DVD que incluye una versión recientemente remasterizada del álbum, además de grabaciones de estudio inéditas, audio y vídeo de la actuación de la banda en el festival Monsters Of Rock de 1990, y una nueva entrevista con el fundador y líder de Whitesnake, David Coverdale. Además incluye un libro de tapa dura de 60 páginas lleno de recuerdos raros de la época.
